Terms of Use
Terms for using the Reconcile Sheets early-access service.
By installing or using Reconcile Sheets, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the add-on.
The service
Reconcile Sheets assists with comparing two tables in a Google spreadsheet and creating a separate reconciliation report. It is a productivity tool, not accounting, tax, legal, banking, or financial advice. You remain responsible for reviewing results before relying on them.
Early access
The initial public version is a free, non-commercial experiment. It has no purchases, subscriptions, advertising, or paid upgrades. Features may change as reliability and user feedback are evaluated. If the project later becomes a commercial offering, its legal, marketplace, and pricing information will be reviewed and updated before that change takes effect.
Your responsibilities
- Use the add-on only with data you are authorized to process.
- Maintain appropriate spreadsheet access controls and backups.
- Review exact, divergent, missing, duplicate, and approximate results.
- Do not use the service to violate law, third-party rights, or Google policies.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer for abuse, or misuse the service.
Approximate suggestions
Approximate matches are suggestions based on string similarity. They are not automatically accepted. Your approval confirms only the proposed key association; compared fields may still be classified as divergent.
Availability
The service is provided on an as-available basis and depends on Google Sheets, Google Apps Script, account permissions, quotas, and internet connectivity. No uninterrupted-availability commitment or service-level agreement is provided during early access.
Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or error-free operation. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Reconcile Sheets and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages arising from use of the service. You should independently verify reconciliation results before financial action.
Changes and termination
You may stop using and uninstall the add-on at any time. Access may be suspended for abuse, security risk, or policy violations. These terms may be updated with a revised effective date.
